Put Deutsche Welle's latest world news on your screens, refreshed on their own. Pick a layout — a single story, a full-screen cover, a rolling list — and optionally show a QR code so people can keep reading on their phone. Nothing to set up: the feed is built in.
Every app in the catalogue is part of the plan. There is no app store, no per-app charge and nothing held back for a higher tier.
How to show Deutsche Welle (DW) news on a TV
Put DW's English-language news on a screen in an office, an international school or a public building. The app is preset to DW's English feed of all its latest stories.

Add the app
In the dashboard, open Apps and add Deutsche Welle.

Choose the arrangement
Layout has ten options. Try Editorial for a magazine page, or Atelier for the deluxe edition.

Set the finishing details
Theme is Light or Dark. Show QR code is on by default. How many stories, in Feed Settings, sets how many of DW's newest stories are used, from 1 to 20.

Put it on a screen
Add the app to a playlist, give it a duration and publish it to the screen.

DW's English service
The app reads DW's English feed of all its latest stories. The address is fixed inside the app and is not shown in the form.
Lead photos added
DW's feed does not carry usable photos, so SignageStack fetches each story's lead picture from the article on DW's site, where there is one.
Stays up offline
Without a connection, the screen shows the last DW stories it received. New ones come in when it reconnects.

Not with this app, which reads the English feed. DW publishes in many languages; if it offers a feed in the one you need, give that address to the RSS feed app.
