Built by people who got tired of the quote.
Digital signage is a mature market with immature pricing. Ask three vendors what a ten-screen network costs and you will get three answers, two of which arrive by email a week later.
SignageStack started because the software side of digital signage is not hard, and the industry prices it as though it were. A screen needs a playlist, a schedule, some content it does not have to design by hand, and proof that it played. Everything beyond that is a tier chart.
So there is one plan. Every feature is in it, including the ones competitors hold back for enterprise: split-screen zones, proof-of-play reporting, connected apps, team members. You pay per screen because that is the only number that grows with the value you get.
The other decision that shaped the product is offline playback. A screen in a bakery is on a domestic router behind a coffee machine. It will lose the network. When it does, the player carries on from what it cached, keeps logging what it showed, and reconciles when the line comes back. A screen that goes blank the moment Wi-Fi hiccups is not a product, it is a demo.
We build in the open about what is finished and what is not. The app catalogue on this site is generated from the same registry the product loads, so the number cannot drift. The download page reads the release channel that the screens themselves poll. If a page here says something works, you can go and check it on a screen this afternoon.
We are a small team, which is why the roadmap is short and the things on it are finished before the next one starts. It also means you get an answer from somebody who can change the code rather than from a queue.

Where the product stands today
Three things we will not do
Hold a feature back to create a tier
If it ships, it is in the plan. The trial is the full product with a clock on it.
Quote a price only by email
The number is on the pricing page. Enterprise exists for volume and paperwork, not to hide the base price.
Sell you hardware you do not need
We will tell you what works and let you buy it from whoever is closest.
Decisions you can see from the outside
Four choices that explain most of what the product does and does not do.
The player is a web application
One codebase renders in the dashboard preview, in a browser, and inside the Android shell. That is why the preview is the screen, and why a five-year-old mini PC is enough hardware.
The device decides, not the cloud
What to play and when to go dark are decided on the screen, from what it has cached. Our servers being unreachable delays a change; it does not blank a display.
Connected accounts stay on the server
Google, Microsoft and Canva tokens are encrypted at rest and decrypted only in server memory while an app fetches your data. They are never sent to a player and never appear in a snapshot.
One organisation, one boundary
Screens, playlists and media belong to an organisation rather than to a person, so the colleague who runs a location gets a login of their own, not a shared password.
Talking to us
One address reaches the people who build and run the product — sales, support and anything legal. We answer on working days, usually the same one.
Emailoffice@signagestack.comProduct updates go out on Instagram and Facebook.
Thirty minutes, no slides.
We pair a screen live, build a playlist with your content, and show you the report at the end. If it is not a fit you will know inside ten minutes and we will say so.
