Terms of service

Terms of service

These terms apply when you create a SignageStack account. Plain language on purpose — if something here is unclear, ask before you sign up rather than after.

The service

SignageStack provides software to manage content on displays: a hosted dashboard, a player application, and the apps in the catalogue. We do not supply displays, media players or network connectivity.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your credentials to yourself, and for the people you invite into your organisation. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

The trial

New accounts get 21 days with every feature. To keep the account after that, choose a paid plan or send an upgrade request before the trial ends. If it ends with neither, the account and everything created in it are permanently deleted — we notify you by email the day before.

Price and billing

Professional is €11 per screen per month, or €100 per screen per year, excluding VAT, for the number of screens on your plan. Monthly plans bill month to month and can be cancelled for the next period at any time.

Enterprise pricing is agreed in writing and may differ from the published price.

Your content

Everything you upload or display stays yours. You confirm you have the right to show it, that it does not infringe anyone else and is not unlawful where the screen is. We may remove content we are legally required to remove, and will tell you when we do.

Availability

We aim for high availability of the dashboard and the delivery API, and the uptime commitment is on the SLA page. Playback on a paired screen does not depend on our availability — players cache their content and keep playing.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. Closing it starts a 30-day grace period: access is disabled but signing back in restores everything. After it, personal data is anonymised and an organisation's screens, playlists and media are erased for good. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a serious breach of these terms, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost revenue arising from a screen showing the wrong thing or nothing at all.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Serbia have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer or local law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.

What you may not do with it

Using the service to do any of the following ends the agreement:

  • Show content that is unlawful where the screen stands, infringes someone else's rights, or is defamatory
  • Show content you do not hold the rights to — a public performance licence for music and video is yours to obtain, not ours
  • Distribute malware, or try to reach a system, an account or data that is not yours
  • Interfere with the service, work around its technical limits, or probe it without a written agreement from us
  • Resell the service or provide it to a third party, unless we have agreed that in writing

Third-party services you connect

Connecting Google, Microsoft, Canva or any other provider is your decision and your relationship with them: their terms and their privacy practices apply on their side, and we are not responsible for what they do or stop doing. You can disconnect any of them at any time, which deletes the tokens we hold for it — and for Canva also revokes them with Canva.

What belongs to whom

The service — its software, its design, its name and its marks — belongs to us and our licensors, and nothing in these terms transfers it to you. Your content belongs to you, and the licence you give us covers only what it takes to run the service: storing it, processing it, delivering it to your players, and making thumbnails and previews of it.

Feedback you send us is something we may act on without owing you anything for it.

Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us because of what you displayed, because of how you used the service, or because you broke these terms, you will cover the claim and the reasonable costs of answering it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect and update the date on this page; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If you do not accept a change, you can close the account before it applies.

Everything else

Notices to you go to the email on the account; notices to us go to office@signagestack.com. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or a sale of the business. Neither side is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside its control.
