We keep this short because the list is short. This site does not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

On this website

One is functional and set whichever way you answer; the others appear only if you accept analytics:

  • analytics-consent — remembers your answer to the analytics banner so it stops asking. One year.
  • _ga and _ga_DDEX99GE9T — set by Google Analytics only if you accept, to count visits and see which pages and sources bring them. Up to two years, and never set if you decline.
  • ph_…_posthog and ph_…_posthog_cpm — set by PostHog only if you accept, to recognise a returning visitor and see how the site is used, including recordings of visits in which anything typed into a form is hidden. One year, and never set if you decline. PostHog keeps a copy in this site’s browser storage.

In the dashboard

Signing in sets a session cookie and stores tokens needed to keep you signed in. These are required for the application to work and cannot be switched off while you are logged in. Signing out clears them.

The dashboard also measures how it is used, with PostHog: which pages and features people open, and recordings of signed-in sessions that show the layout and the clicks while every text, every image and anything typed stays hidden. It stores nothing on your device to do this; while you are signed in, it recognises you by your account instead.

On the player

A paired screen stores its pairing credentials and a cache of its playlist and media on the device. That is what lets it keep playing offline. It is storage on hardware you control, not tracking.

Third parties

Connecting a Google, Microsoft or Canva app sends you to that provider to sign in, and their cookie policy applies on their pages. We do not embed their trackers on ours.

Turning them off

Every browser can block or delete cookies and site storage, and you are welcome to. Blocking them on this website costs you nothing but the banner asking again. Blocking them in the dashboard signs you out and keeps you out, because the session itself is what is being stored.

The dashboard asks for no consent because its analytics store nothing on your device; it measures use on the ground of legitimate interest described in the privacy policy. On this website, the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page brings the banner back, so you can change your answer at any time. There is no advertising, and nothing is shared with a third party for its own purposes.

Changes to this page

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, this page changes first and asks for consent before the cookie is set.
